Grip and Overgrip OEM & ODM Manufacturing
Twenty grip models in production: 0.65 mm to 1.9 mm thick, 25 to 35 mm wide, 1090 to 1500 mm long, in tacky PU, dry PU, buffed grain, EVA keel and towel. Grip is the cheapest part of a racket and the only one the player touches on every shot, which is why buyers who resell it care about the numbers more than the name.
The range we produce
| Model | Surface | Size (mm) | Material | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FCOG-13 | Tacky, gradient colour | 1100 × 25 × 0.65 | Soft PU | Thinnest in the range |

| FCOG-03 | Buffed grain, dry | 1100 × 25 × 0.8 | Soft PU | For sweaty hands |
| FCOG-06 | Dry | 1100 × 25 × 0.8 | Soft PU | Dry feel |
| FCLG-01 | Tacky, perforated, EVA keel | 1130 × 25 × 0.8 | Soft PU | Keel ridge adds thickness per wrap |
| FCLG-06 | Tacky, thickened keel | 1100 × 26 × 0.8 | Soft PU | Widened keel |
| FCLG-03 | Dry, perforated, red stitching | 1090 × 25 × 1.9 | Polyurethane | Thickest in the range |
| FCOG-10 | Smooth, adhesive backing | 1500 × 35 × 1.5 | PU | Long handles, two-handed grips |
| FCTG-01 | Towel | 700 × 30 | Polyester | Single towel grip |
| FCTG-10 | Towel, roll | 10000 × 32 | Towel | Cut to length on site |
| FCA-17 | PE base film | 25000 × 30 × 2C | Polyurethane | Builds thickness under the grip |
| FCOG-04 | Sealing tape | 1000 or 2000 × 10 | PVC + adhesive | Finishing tape |
Eleven colours run as standard on the soft-PU models. The last two rows are not grips: they are the two accessories a grip order normally needs, which is why they are in the same category.
Thickness is a fit decision, not a cosmetic one
This is the part buyers get wrong. Wrapping one layer of thickness t increases the handle circumference by 2πt — so 0.65 mm adds roughly 4 mm, 0.8 mm roughly 5 mm, 1.5 mm roughly 9 mm, and 1.9 mm roughly 12 mm. Overlap pushes it higher still.
A player who says the grip feels small after one overgrip is telling you the number, not the colour. If you are building a range, the thickness ladder is worth specifying deliberately: 0.65 and 0.8 for players who want the original bevel, 1.5 and 1.9 for players building up a handle.

What a buyer can specify
Thickness
0.65, 0.8, 1.5 or 1.9 mm — the four production thicknesses.
Width
25, 26, 30, 32 or 35 mm, matched to the handle it is made for.
Surface
Tacky, dry, buffed grain, perforated, keel ridge, or towel.
Colour
Eleven standard colours, or a matched shade quoted against the run for that colour.
Backing film
Plain, or printed with your brand. Adhesive or non-adhesive where the model allows.
Packing
Single pc, 3-pack, roll, or a display box for retail.
Brand
Your brand only. We do not print FANGCAN on an OEM order unless you ask.
Grip system
Base film to build thickness first, grip over it, sealing tape to finish.
Packing formats in production
The same grip is a different order depending on how it ships. All three formats are in production, and they are quoted separately because they are separate runs:
Counter item
One grip per sleeve. This is where the eleven standard colours live, and the format most distributor catalogues are built on.
Retail shelf
Three grips per blister or sleeve, barcode on the pack. Same grip, different packing run.
Cut on site
Towel grip in 10 m, base film in 25 m, sealing tape in 10 m or 20 m. Sold to stringers and pro shops who cut to length.
A four-colour programme ordered as single pieces and the same four colours ordered as three-packs are two production runs, not one order split in two. Say which at brief stage.
MOQ, samples and lead time
A grip minimum is set by the coating or laminating run and by the backing-film print. Colour count is the variable that moves it most.
Shortest route
A standard colour and surface on an existing model is the fastest order, and the only one where a sample comes from stock.
Per colour
A matched shade needs its own run. MOQ and lead time are quoted per colour, not for the order total.
Print setup
Backing-film print and retail packing carry a separate setup, quoted together with the grip.
Certification and testing
We do not hold a blanket certification for grips, and we will not claim one. Where your market needs a material or skin-contact declaration, we supply it from the actual production batch and arrange testing with your nominated lab.

Questions buyers ask before a sample
What is the minimum order for a grip?
5,000 pcs for a standard configuration: an existing model, in a colour already running. A custom shade and backing-film print each carry their own setup, quoted per order.
What thickness range can you produce?
0.65 mm to 1.9 mm across the twenty models currently in production. FCOG-13 is the thinnest at 0.65 mm, FCLG-03 the thickest at 1.9 mm. Thickness is the parameter that changes the handle, not decoration: one layer of 0.65 mm adds about 4 mm to the circumference, one layer of 1.9 mm adds about 12 mm.
Tacky or dry?
Both, and the distinction is functional rather than marketing. Tacky PU (FCOG-02, FCOG-13) suits a player whose hands stay dry. Dry and buffed-grain surfaces (FCOG-03, FCOG-06) suit hands that sweat, because a tacky surface stops being tacky once it is wet. Towel grips (FCTG-01, FCTG-10) are the third answer for the same problem.
What widths and lengths?
Width 25, 26, 30, 32 or 35 mm; length 1090 to 1500 mm. A standard badminton overgrip is 1100 × 25 mm. The 1500 mm FCOG-10 exists because a two-handed tennis grip or a fishing-rod butt cannot be covered in one pass at 1100 mm.
Can the backing film carry our brand?
Yes. Backing film print, colour, and the retail packing — single pc, multi-pack or display box — are all part of the order. Where the grip is packed in a printed sleeve, the sleeve artwork is quoted with the run.
