Giving Back: Two Commitments We Have Kept

We are a manufacturer, not a charity. But two commitments have been running quietly alongside the business for more than a decade: one through the platform where our own store sells, one through UNICEF’s monthly giving programme. This page documents both, and only with the numbers we are willing to stand behind in public.

1. UNICEF — monthly support since September 2023

In September 2023 we joined the monthly giving programme of the UNICEF Office for China (益童承诺, “pledge for children”). Twelve successful monthly donations count as one growth year. We have completed three growth years, and in October 2025 UNICEF sent the two-year anniversary certificate.

Monthly giving is deliberately unrestricted: it is not tied to a project we pick, so the office can direct it to whatever need is most urgent that month. That is the point of the arrangement — it is a standing commitment, not a campaign.

The monthly pledge is made in the founder’s personal name, which is how UNICEF issues it. We do not publish the donor’s name, the donation amount, or the receipts on this page. What we can confirm is the start date and the continuity.

2. Alibaba Charity Baby — 14 years, 248 projects

Our Tmall store has taken part in Alibaba’s Charity Baby programme (公益宝贝) since 2013. The mechanism is simple: a fixed small amount from each eligible order is routed to a public welfare project on the platform’s list, and the platform aggregates it into certificates at year end.

Fourteen years of that adds up to 248 supported projects (as of October 2026) — 24 of them in 2023, 43 in 2026 alone. The projects themselves are chosen by the platform’s partner organisations, not by us; our part is the per-order contribution.

The certificates carry our store name and the number of qualifying orders. Both have been masked, because those order counts are effectively our sales volume and we do not publish that. The year, the programme and the project counts are shown unaltered.

Why the numbers stop where they do

Two reasons, both practical. First, these certificates are issued per order, so their headline figures double as a sales disclosure — a supplier that publishes them is publishing its own order book. Second, donation totals invite comparison instead of understanding: one brand’s total says nothing about whether the money went anywhere useful.

Duration and breadth are the honest measures we can publish: since 2013, fourteen years, 248 projects, and a monthly pledge that has not lapsed since it started.

What this means for a buyer

For an OEM or ODM partner, a CSR page is not a reason to place an order. It is a small piece of evidence about the kind of supplier you are dealing with: one that has stayed in a single business for over a decade, and that keeps its public claims checkable rather than impressive.

If you need documentation — certificates, factory audit reports, test reports — ask us and we will send the actual files rather than a summary of them.

Figures on this page come from documents we hold: the Charity Baby 20th anniversary certificate (issued 2026), the 2023 and 2026 annual certificates, and UNICEF receipts for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 pledge years. Last reviewed October 2026. Questions: contact our team.
