The cheap, light speed rope that schools and clubs buy by the box: 3 m transparent PVC cord, 12.5 cm handles, adjustable by cutting.
PVC does not twist or kink the way cheap cotton does, which is the whole point of a speed rope — a kink kills the rhythm on the second or third double-under. Transparent cord in mixed colours.
